Marriott Health Club: Working out and relaxing in the heart of Vienna

Vienna city centre has a new gem and it’s based on fitness and wellness. The Vienna Marriott Health Club recently opened on the Ringstrasse. The chances of success are good, because according to the "Marriott philosophy" of unconditional orientation towards perfect service, nothing is left to chance here either.

On 570 square metres you will find everything that a fitness or wellness enthusiast’s heart desires. A highlight is the well-equipped fitness area with high-quality Technogym equipment. Moreover a 12-metre indoor pool, an aromatic steam bath, an infrared sauna, two relaxation areas and two Finnish saunas invite you to relax and unwind.

Benjamin Rauscher is the Health Club Manager. The 30-year-old Viennese had previously worked for nine years at fitness clubs and served as a personal coach for the dance world champions and "dancing stars" such as Kathrin Menzinger and Vadim Garbuzov, among others.

"My focus is on health-oriented training. It's about making people more robust against the stresses of everyday life," says Rauscher. And that works excellently in an exclusive fitness club: "Small, exclusive training sessions naturally promote personal relationships with customers. "It's a better way to meet their wishes and requirements."

Perfect service

The Health Club in the basement of the Vienna Marriott Hotel invites you to linger in its own bar area, where not only refreshing drinks but also healthy and hearty snacks are served from 7 am to 10 pm. Yoga classes with actress Natalie Alison and a comprehensive range of massages round off the offer perfectly.

Bar and yoga area

In the Health Club both hotel guests and external visitors can train and relax. This results in a colourful mixture of guests, employees and business people. The basic monthly ticket costs 150€ per person and a day ticket costs 35€ - an annual ticket can also be purchased for 1,020€.
