It will use Mercedes engines and will rely on the duo of pilots composed of Lance Stroll, son of the owner and already at Williams in the last two seasons, and the experienced Mexican Sergio Perez, 158 career Grand Prix with eight podiums.

The youngest driver in the 2019 Formula One Championship will be 19-year-old British driver Lando Norris, who has won the Eurocup Formula Renault and European Formula 3 titles in the past three years and finished second in Formula 2 in 2018. The American team Rich Energy Haas deserves special attention. It debuted in the circus in the Formula 1 World Championship in 2016 and, after two seasons, showed great improvements last year, reaching a good fifth place in the manufacturer's ranking. To aim even higher, the team manager from Bolzano Gunther Steiner confirmed both drivers, the Swiss-French Romain Grosjean and the Danish Kevin Magnussen, author of the first fastest lap race in the history of Haas during the Singapore Grand Prix in 2018.
