The focus in fitness had already begun to shift from hardware to content. With the launch of a new content platform at the same time as its latest Excite line of smart equipment - and the new version of its training app, Mywellness 5.0 - Technogym has redefined that focus, bringing premium content and cutting edge hardware together into one ecosystem.

Technogym Live - the Netflix of training content - is the first platform in the industry to deliver preferred training to users whether they’re at home, work, out and about, or in any gym, club or hotel. With a level of artificial intelligence not yet seen in the fitness sphere, the platform acts as a remote coach, suggesting workouts - and work loads - tailored to daily goals and time.
Some of the best personal trainers in the business will lead live and on-demand sessions for users, as well as training routines and exercises. For a sense of escape in the year of lockdown, the outdoor virtual training mode will beam users to a range of locations, from Provencal lavender fields to bustling Asian metropolises.

This personalised training experience comes via Technogym’s new console, an intuitive touch screen with layers of functionality and analysis for those who want it. And in Mywellness 5.0, the latest version of Technogym’s app, personalisation reaches a new level, allowing operators to create original content and a tailored choice of video workouts and deliver it straight into the hands of users.
The app also gives fitness operators a greater shop window, allowing them to target and reach their users globally and remotely - a key advantage in uncertain times. The app also works as a safe platform for users to book physical classes and sessions at their preferred training locations, reducing the need for contact on arrival.
After almost four decades of innovation in equipment, Technogym’s latest Excite line, alongside Artis Line and Personal Line, is designed to maximise its growing digital impact. Users can instantly bring up their profile on any piece of equipment, picking up where they left off or taking on new challenges. With a boom in in-home fitness, the new machines are also designed to be compact, freeing up space for movement. A human-powered version takes energy form the user rather than the grid or batteries.
