Technogym and Olimpia Milano

New season, new gym

Technogym and the historic Olimpia Milano basketball team have renewed their partnership agreement for the 2016-2017 season. For the new season, Technogym has equipped the gym at the Mediolanum Forum ( the team's new headquarters) with the latest cutting-edge products.

Located at the edge of the court, the gym boasts professional machines for muscle strengthening, cardiovascular training and rehabilitation. The products chosen by the team include:

• Skillmill, the ideal solution for professional athletes which allows the full speed-resistance spectrum to be explored as part of the Athletic Performance Training approach - the complete training method created by Technogym on the basis of more than 30 years of experience in the sector.
• Excite®, the updated range of cardio training products. All the equipment is fully connected in order to ensure a comprehensive experience for users, thanks to Bluetooth connectivity and the Mywellness band.
• Selection Pro, inspired by the company's many years of experience with working with some of the best athletes around the world, is equipped with the new UNITY ™ MINI connected interface for strength training with superior performance and results.

With one match after another and high-intensity rhythms during the game, which are often the cause of injuries, the importance of state-of-the-art athletic training is paramount. For several years now, Olimpia Milano has been placing its trust in Technogym's experience and professionalism to ensure proper technical-scientific support for the athletic training and rehabilitation of its players.

In addition to the well-established partnership with Olympia Milano, Technogym is also globally recognised as a point of reference when it comes to providing athletic training to the world's best sports teams, including Juventus, AC Milan, FC Inter, Chelsea FC, Spartak Moscow and Paris St. Germain, as well as the Italian and Russian national football teams and the Formula 1 Ferrari and McLaren teams. Recently Technogym celebrated its participation in the sixth Olympic Games in Rio 2016, following Sydney 2000, Athens 2004, Turin 2006, Beijing 2008 and London 2012.
