Technogym hosts the first hospitality workshop organised by Glion and Les Roches

Technogym, world leader in the wellness industry, hosted its first hospitality workshop in its Milan boutique. The event was held by the Swiss universities Glion Institute of Higher Education and Les Roches Global Hospitality Education, two of the most prestigious international Hospitality Management schools in the world with faculties in Switzerland, the United Kingdom, Spain, Jordan and China. The event was aimed at their own students, who were eager to learn new combinations between the worlds of wellness and hospitality.
"The experiential part is fundamental to our educational model. Students must acquire skills and demonstrate their ability to find innovative solutions. In our institutes we train professionals for jobs that do not yet exist.” This is how Francesca Bonzo, educational counsellor and former Glion student, comments about the workshop, born from the collaboration between the prestigious international schools with the famous Italian wellness company.
The workshop, organized by the same educational counsellor, involved twenty students aged between 17 and 25 years, interested in university education in the field of hospitality management. The students imagined new ways on how to make an unforgettable wellness experience and how to communicate it effectively, proposing young and dynamic ideas through creative workshops, guided by experienced Technogym professionals in the fields of Hospitality, Residential and Wellness management.
For Technogym, the workshop is a first step towards the strategic collaboration with these prestigious institutes, which train executive and top managers for the world's leading hotel chains.

"Our intention was to stimulate revolutionary ideas, apparently those that are not feasible with today's technology, but that will be realized with future discoveries", says Ms. Bonzo. Central to the workshop was undoubtedly the hotel industry, especially in its future declinations between innovation and eco-sustainability. "In Les Roches we work a lot on business creation: 33% of our former students have created various activities, ranging from hospitality to business consulting, but also to the world of events and sport. We help them to create projects and develop them in order to make them real, moving from the creative phase to that of a feasibility study", adds the educational counsellor.

Given the success of this initiative in Milan, the two international institutes are already thinking of replicating such collaboration in different countries around the world.
