How to get the most out of Kinesis Personal in your house

After having discussed how to organize your personal gym in 30 m² in our last newsletter, this time we'll find out together how to install Kinesis Personal at home, and what rules to follow for a good and effective design.
We asked our expert architect a few questions.

How to install Kinesis Personal at homeWhich characteristics must be followed when installing Kinesis Personal? And what's the ideal location?
There are four major points to follow:

  1. Leave at least 2.5 meters of space in front of the equipment (in order to use it best).
  2. When space is limited, Kinesis Personal can be installed with a frontal assembly. This saves space and brings Kinesis Personal closer to the wall. This solution is often used in situations when space is very limited.
  3. A few private customers have made truly interesting choices in their homes, by providing light through some spotlights on the ceiling that bring out the design of Kinesis Personal.
  4. I recommend one or two rugs to make floor exercises easier.

You can also include an accessory like a Wellness Ball for doing abdominal and glute exercises. This will let you capitalize on the full spectrum offered by Kinesis Personal.
If space is limited or there is other equipment in the area, Kinesis Personal can also be folded up after use.

Where can Kinesis Personal be installed in my home? Are there any clients who have put Kinesis Personal in special or unusual places?
Kinesis Personal can be installed in any room, following the requirements I described above. It's usually put in a room dedicated to wellness. The living room is another common location. The most uncommon places I've seen Kinesis Personal installed are: in the bedroom with a Run Personal, and on a covered terrace with Run Personal, Spazio Forma, Unica and Cross Forma. One customer was very original, installing Kinesis Personal on his yacht.

In the customer design with the following layout (see image), Kinesis Personal was placed in a 40 m² space with other cardio and strength-training machines to make the training options even more complete.
For cardio training, he added: Step Excite, Run Personal, Syncro Excite, and Recline Excite, while for strength he chose the Upper Back Selection and a rack with dumbbells.
