Technogym Global: Learn about two new facilities with wall-to-wall Technogym

Technogym supports fitness facilities and wellness initiatives around the globe. In this feature, we’ll learn why two facilities in the UK and Spain chose Technogym to differentiate their facility and provide the best training experience to members.

November 2010 marked the opening of the second newly built Calderdale Council leisure facility – Sowerby Bridge Swimming Pool and Fitness Centre (it followed the opening of Brighouse Swimming Pool and Fitness Centre in October of last year) and in February 2010, the DiR gym chain opened its 18th club in Catalonia: DiR Tuset (first DiR club with Technogym machine and equipment).

When choosing equipment for the gym, Calderdale Council selected Technogym as a business partner to provide its latest and most expansive range to satisfy their "demanding and
diverse" customer base, as well as to future-proof them for years to come.

Both clubs are fitted with Technogym equipment – 65 stations of cardio and strength at Brighouse and 45 stations at Sowerby Bridge while the DiR Tuset has Kinesis One, Pure Strength, FLEXability, and Element. We interviewed members and staff from both Calderdale Council and DiR Tuset.

Fitness manager (Calderdale Council) Matt Brooks says:

Technical Manager (DiR Tuset) Sergio Garcia says:

Due to their originality and versatility, Kinesis One and DAP really help us to sell our personal training services. We are able to provide training to match any needs and requirements and together with the help provided by the medical zone, this means that DiR Tuset has the second highest percentage of Personal Training programs per number of members in the DiR chain.
