Technogym at the Singapore Youth Olympic Games

The first ever Youth Olympic Games will get underway on August 14th in Singapore. Young Adults between ages 14 and 18 years old can compete in the games, and just like the traditional Olympics, there will be both winter and summer versions.

Technogym will be there, in an event that will present the champions of tomorrow to the world and help to further spread the fundamental values of sport and the benefits of physical exercise.

A gym tailor-made for Olympic training
With 3,500 athletes, 170 competing countries, and 26 sports featured, the new Youth Olympic Games will not be a modest version of the adult Games by any measure.
That's why the equipment and services for the participants’ athletic preparation must be at the Olympic level too.

After Sydney 2000, Athens 2004, Torino 2006, and Beijing 2008, Technogym again will serve as official supplier of sporting equipment to an Olympic event. In Singapore 2010, Technogym will equip a 1,000 m2 gym with all the solutions and strategies that will help the young athletes improve and maintain their condition during the competition.

• an area dedicated to strength – Featuring the entire line of Selection selectorized equipment, the new Pure Strength plate loaded line, and a vast space dedicated to free weight training.
