October 20th: Technogym® is born

1984

Isotonic Line, first line of variable resistance strength equipment

1985

Introduction of Executive Line, a new strength line with rehabilitation devices

1986

Presentation of Unica™, a complete gym in one and a half square meters

1987

Design of the first cardiovascular products, Isostep™ and Isoclimb™, for aerobic conditioning

1988

Creation of CPR / CHR™ (constant pulse/heart rate) technology, a self adjusting workload system with real time accomodation to user's heart rate

1989

The first two cardiovascular pieces of equipment, Bikerace® e Rowrace®, equipped with CPR / CHR™ technology

1990

Completion of the Home fitness line with four new products that join Unica™ to create a complete professional home workout line

1991

Completion of the cardiovascular pieces of equipment, Runrace® e Steprace®. All machines are equipped with CPR / CHR™ technology

1992

After five years of research conducted jointly with an MIT (Massachussetts Institute of technology) researcher, REV™ 9000, an isokinetic machine for rehabilitation, enters the company's product line

1993

Creation of a dedicated international staff

Introduction of REV™ 7000, isokinetic equipment for knee rehabilitation

Creation of the REV™ Circuit, a prehab-rehab circuit of variable resistance equipment equipped with a range of motion limiting device (ROM)

1994

Introduction of XT Line, a cross training system composed of five different cardiovascular conditioning machines

1995

Introduction of the Spintrainer™, the first stationary cycling machine mounted on electronic rollers to reproduce the feel of real road cycling

Presentation of the Technogym System®, the integrated system for managing training programs and club activities
