Alex Schwazer, race walking with Technogym

Alex Schwazer is the current Olympic champion (Beijing 2008) in the 50-km race walk.
From the Alto Adige area of Italy, Schwazer competes in a specialty that is very demanding both physically and mentally: racewalking. He relies upon the skill and professionalism of Technogym to improve his athletic performance.

As he prepares for upcoming international competitions in the gym he has equipped in his home in Vipiteno, Schwazer uses the Run Excite treadmill from Technogym, which gives the athlete the support he needs: it feels like running on a supple, cushioned surface that absorbs the force of impact and returns thrust at every step.

The athlete can adjust the intensity of training, and thanks to Fast Track Control, two joysticks make it possible to adjust the speed and incline.
This means that the Italian team champion is training on a cutting-edge treadmill to race walk towards lofty new horizons.
