Our 65 + station fitness studio has the latest Technogym strength and cardio vascular equipment and together with the Technogym Wellness Key offers a unique mix of innovative technology and wellness. An extensive range of fitness classes is run in the multi purpose studios and the treatment rooms provide an opportunity for an holistic approach to health and wellbeing.

Newmarket Leisure Centre re-opened its doors to the public on the 5 January 2009 following a multi-million pound development of the old leisure centre site on Exning Road. The centre shares the site with the Newmarket College which ensures that both the local community and college students benefit from the new sports and leisure facilities and programmes of activity. The project supported by Sport England with a grant of £2.99M has an impressive range of wet facilities including a 6 lane, 25 metre competition main pool with spectator seating and a teaching pool which were built to replace the old 1930’s built town pool on the high street. The pool is supporting the development of the local swimming club as well as providing improved facilities for the general public. A separate teaching pool with moveable floor allows for an increased swimming teaching programme as well as enabling greater use by people with disabilities.            The floodlit synthetic outdoor sports pitch (STP) is home to the Newmarket Hockey Club, as a training facility for local clubs and for coached activities.

The Montage cafe/bar and social facilities provide an extensive menu and is available throughout the day as an important community meeting place and cultural venue.

Newmarket Leisure Centre is managed by Anglia Community Leisure on behalf of Forest Heath District Council. Anglia Community Leisure is a not-for-profit, charitable company, set up to provide leisure management services within the Forest Heath and wider area.
